Itinerary

Day 1

  • After arrival from Delhi by flight to Guwahati airport and drive to Shillong (140 kms / 4 hrs drive approx). Home of Khasi tribe. Shillong has rightly earned the sobriquet of "Scotland of the East" owing to the rolling hills, beautiful scenery and climate. En-route we will have a short halt at Barapani Umiam Lake, a majestic placid lake with its surrounding sylvan hills, a major tourist attraction located just before entering Shillong. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and rest of the time in leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2

  • In the morning you will visit Shillong peak and get a bird's eye view of the entire city of Shillong and then go to Elephanta falls. Then drive to Cherrapunjee, the erstwhile rainiest place in the world. On the way, experience the beautiful rolling hills, the flora and the waterfalls, most importantly the Nohkalikai or Seven Sisters Falls, a seven-segmented waterfall that falls from a height of over a 1000 ft. Over Night stay at Cherrapunjee.
Day 3

  • After a refreshing morning, take your breakfast and drive from Cherrapunjee to Dawki and river Umgnot, with pictures of crystal clear waters popular in the social media. You can have a bath over here, enjoy local boating, and if you are a fish lover then can have a taste of Dawki's fish at a nearby food court. On the way to Dawki you can enjoy the view of Borhill Falls and Kyram Falls. Mawlynnong- A picturesque village located in East Khasi Hills along the India-Bangladesh border. Declared as the cleanest village in Asia by Discover India magazine in 2003, the modestly existing Mawlynnong has alternatively been known as God own garden too go for a short trek of the village and see the Khasi way of life and meet the locals. You can visit Balancing Rock, Sky Walk, Bangladesh Viewpoint, and the Longest Living Root bridge. Back to Shillong and overnight stay at Shillong
Day 4

  • Early morning after breakfast Visit Ward’s lake- It has a beautiful landscape view around the lake, which offers the visitors to enjoy boating here on the placid waters of the lake. Lady Hydari Park-The most important feature and the first thing you’ll notice as you enter this park is that it is designed in a Japanese garden style. Don Bosco Museum-Don Bosco Museum in Shillong is a major tourists spot providing a A glimpse of the rich and multi-cultural lifestyles of the indigenous peoples of North East ,India.
Day 5

  • After breakfast starts your journey to Dirang. On the way visit, Tippi On the banks of the river Bharali at an elevation of 190 meters is Tipi, an orchidarium with over 7500 orchids. On display are some of the finest species with names like the Dainty Lady's Slipper or the more formal sounding Dendrobium. Arunachal has the largest range of orchids in the country. Continue your drive and do not forget to keep your cameras handy as you cross beautiful waterfalls and get some spectacular views. Check in to your hotel. After lunch visit the regional apple Nursery, kiwi farm, dzong (fort), hot water spring. Overnight stay in Dirang.
Day 6

  • After breakfast transfer to Tawang. On the way visit war cemetery. Continue with the drive till you reach Sela Pass at an altitude of 4114m / 13494 ft. It is famous for high altitude lakes & scenic beauty is ideal for ice skating during winter. Check in the hotel on arrival. Overnight stay in Tawang Today’s attraction:- Sella pass Paradise lake (Sella Lake) Jaswant Garh Jung water falls
Day 7

  • After breakfast visit Tawang Monstery, Singar Ani Gompa. Evening return back to hotel. Overnight stay in Tawang. Today’s Attraction:- Tawang monastery Tawang War Memorial & Show Tawang Ropeway Craft Center
Day 8

  • After breakfast visit Bumla Pass, Madhuri Lake & P.T.Tso Lake .Evening free for leisure. Over Night stay at Tawang. Today’s Attraction:- Indo-China Border (Bum La Pass) Madhuri Lake (Sungester Lake) PTSO lake Nagula Lake
Day 9

  • After Breakfast transfer to Bomdila. And visit jung water falls at JUNG and process to… Check in the hotel on arrival. After lunch visit Gontse Rabgyaling Monastery (Upper Gonpa), Thub-Chog Gatsel Ling Monastery (Lower Gonpa), Bomdila View Point. Bomdila offers wonderfully panoramic view of Himalayan landscapes and snow clad ranges. Evening you can visit the local market. Overnight stay in Bomdila. Today’s Attraction:- Local Market visit Bomdila View Point
Day 10

  • The morning after breakfast process to Guwahati. On the wat visit orange garden, Bhutan Border and Depart.
